Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator

Each person on the crew takes a role: helm, weapons, engineering or communications, and works together to fly a starship using Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator, a cooperative game played across several networked computers in the room.

DMX-controlled lighting changes the colour of the whole room in response to what’s happening in the game: red alerts, warp jumps and other events all show up as lighting changes, so it feels like being on the bridge of a real starship.

It works well for teens and adults, and mixes gaming, teamwork and interactive tech into one session.

It puts communication, leadership and problem-solving to the test in a way that’s genuinely fun rather than a forced team-building exercise: everyone has a distinct job, and the ship only works if the crew talks to each other.
