Virtual Reality
A hands-on session with VR headsets, stepping into fully immersive digital worlds.
What happens
We set up VR headsets (Meta Quest, HTC Vive or similar) and let people step into immersive, three-dimensional digital worlds, using motion controllers to look around, move and interact. We start with the basics of how VR actually works, then guide participants through hands-on demos before leaving time to reflect and talk about what they’ve experienced.
No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and a sense of adventure. It works well for exploring games, creativity and learning, and we’re happy to talk through accessibility considerations for anyone new to immersive tech.
Benefits
It’s a low-pressure way to try genuinely new technology hands-on, builds confidence with emerging tech, and sparks conversation about how VR could be used elsewhere, in learning, training or creative projects.
