Slime
A fun, sensory workshop where participants make their own slime using simple, safe ingredients.
What happens
A table of mixing bowls, glue, activator and colour, with our team on hand at every station. Participants measure, mix and stretch their own batch, then load it with glitter, foam beads or scent to make it theirs.
We talk through the chemistry as we go, what the activator’s doing, why the mixture changes, why it feels the way it does, so it’s a proper reaction, not just a craft table.
Benefits
It gets hands busy and questions asked before anyone’s decided whether they like science. There’s no wrong way to make it, so kids who hang back at other stalls get stuck in here, and everyone leaves with a pot of proof they made something themselves.
