Minecraft
A hands-on digital workshop using Minecraft to explore creativity, problem-solving, and basic coding concepts.
What happens
Laptops loaded with Minecraft, worlds built to a theme, and our team moving station to station. Participants build alone or in a team, working through challenges that use redstone, command blocks or a bit of code to get things moving.
Bring your own login if you’ve got one, we carry a limited number of spare accounts for anyone who hasn’t.
Benefits
It turns “I like Minecraft” into building, testing and fixing things in the open, and gives kids who don’t fancy the football or the craft stall something they’re already good at. We’re happy to show the redstone and command blocks under the hood, and the whole rig runs off laptops we bring, nothing for the venue to provide or set up.
