About Us

Established in December 2024 as a project to give young people real-world experience working in tech, Inclusive Bytes has evolved into a community-driven makerspace and digital inclusion hub. What began as a small initiative to support placements has grown into a wider movement that combines hands-on training, device recycling, and creative STEM activities with social value projects for charities and community groups.

Today, Inclusive Bytes provides opportunities for young people to learn, experiment, and contribute to meaningful work, while helping tackle digital exclusion across Oldham and beyond.
